The 2010 Ford Ranger is available in XL, XLT and Sport trim levels, regular and extended cab configurations and with a standard 6-foot bed or available 7-foot bed on the XL regular cab. In standard rear-wheel drive, the Ranger is equipped with a 143-horsepower, 2.3-liter inline-4 engine mated to a five-speed manual or optional automatic transmission. If you want more power, a 207-horsepower, 4.0-liter V-6 engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission is available, or you can opt for a four-wheel-drive model with a five-speed automatic. Class-leading EPA estimated fuel economy ratings range between 14-22 mpg in the city and 18-27 mpg on the highway. When properly equipped, the 2010 Ford Ranger can tow up to 6,000 pounds.
